Principals' MessageDear CMA Families, Thank you for your presence and partnership this week during Parent-Teacher conferences! Our students growth and success is only possible with your continued collaboration- and thus we thank you for your time and energy. Please drop by the book fair when you are on-campus for PTCs to pick up some books for your students to read over spring break! This week, our school community heads off to a well-deserved spring break. May this time with your family be refreshing and joyful. Homework over the break will be very light. Please do ensure your child(ren) continues to read everyday during the break. We will see everyone back on April 8th ready to complete this 3rd trimester STRONG! Educationally Yours, Ms. Yilpet and Mrs. Weingarten Friendly Reminders:

Principals' MessageDear CMA Families,
We are on our way to closing out Trimester 2 and beginning Trimester 3. It is a true privilege to work with you and our amazing students. We are so grateful that you have chosen to have your students to ChangeMakers Academy. With your passion for a great education, our kids are gaining the academic and social emotional skills they need to be empowered for the bright futures that await them. As we enter this final trimester, it means it is time for the final push of hard work and learning to close out the year strong. Studies show that students attendance has a significant impact on their learning. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR CHILD COMES TO SCHOOL EVERY DAY! A huge shout out to the classes and individual students who have been coming to school every day! Thank for your continued partnership to ensure your child is here every day on time. Educationally Yours, Ms. Yilpet and Mrs. Weingarten Principals' MessageDear CMA Families, A recent social media challenge targeting children and young adults called the “Momo Challenge,” has created concern throughout the country due to its disturbing nature. We have not experienced direct challenges with it on site but we have proactively shared with students that any access of youtube and/or the “Momo Challenge” is not acceptable at CMA. We want to make families aware of this social media challenge, provide you with information about it, and urge you to monitor your children’s use of social media and the Internet. The “Momo Challenge,” a game found on Facebook and the app WhatsApp, features a frightening avatar who asks its viewers to perform various tasks and provide photos as proof. If you have questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact anyone on the Leadership Team. You can learn more about the “Momo Challenge” by visiting the links below.
To assist you in considering age appropriateness for children’s use of technology and time spent on social media we are also providing you with some links that offer advice and assistance: Thank you for taking the time to read this important information. Again, if you have questions or concerns, please contact anyone on the Leadership Team.
Educationally Yours, Ms. Yilpet and Mrs. Weingarten |
